थोरल्या स्वामीमहाराजांची ( विद्याधिराज तीर्थ ) अल्पस्वल्प सेवा माझ्याकडून घडली होती व त्यामुळे त्यांची कृपादृष्टी मला लाभली होतीच. तशीच विद्यमान अर्थात विद्याधीश तीर्थ स्वामीमहाराजांचीही अल्पशी सेवा घडून त्यांच्याही कृपादृष्टीचा लाभ व्हावयाचा योग लाभावयाचा होता अंसे दिसते.
श्रोमत् विद्याधीश तीर्थ स्वामीमहाराज गुरुपीठाधिष्ठित झाल्यावर अल्प काळातच त्याना आपली चौफेर गुणवत्ता व अफाट कर्तृत्व निर्विवादपणै सिद्ध करण्याची संधी लाभली. श्री संस्थान गोकर्ण पर्तगाळी मठाच्या सार्ध पंचशतमानोत्सवाचा क्षण नजीक येऊन ठेपला. त्या निमित्ताने स्वामीमहाराजांच्या संकल्पनेने व प्रेरणेने मठवास्तूचे नूतनीकरण, नूतन श्री वीरविट्ठल मंदिराची निर्मिती, प्राकाराचे विस्तारीकरण, प्रसंगविशेषी मठानुयांयाच्या वास्तव्यासाठी अद्ययावत सुविधांनी युक्त वास्तू, संस्कृत पाठशाला व आनुशंगिक सुविधांची निर्मिती,नूतन गोशाला प्रकल्प, ७७ फूट उंचीच्या भव्य आणि सुंदर अशा राममूर्तीची प्रतिष्ठापना, रामायण उपवन , प्रदर्शन वास्तू, समाज सभागृह अशा अनेक भव्य व शोभिवंत संकल्प साकारू लागले . त्यातच मठवास्तूच्या स्थापनेला ५५० वर्षे पूर्ण होत असल्याचे औचित्य साधून स्वामीमहाराजांनी ५५० कोटी रामनाम तारक महामंत्राच्या जपाचा आदेश समाजबांधवाना दिला. सुमारे १२० जपकेंद्राकडून हा जप सार्ध पंचशतमानोत्सवापूर्वी ५५० दिवसात ( १७ एप्रिल २०२४ ते १८ ऑक्टोबर २०२५) पूर्ण होणे अपेक्षित होते. आमचे दामोदर देवालय ही एक केंद्र म्हणून निवडण्यात आले होते.व राजेंद्र जपकेंद्र असे त्याचे नामकरणही स्वामीमहाराजांकडून करण्यात आले होते.या सर्व जपकेंद्रांसाठी मठामार्फत वैदिक पुरवला जाईल अशी अपेक्षा होती. मात्र ही अपेक्षा पूर्ण न झाल्याने , ही जबाबदारी स्वीकारण्याची तयारी दुस-या कुणी न दाखविल्याने, सर्व संबंधित जापकांनी सदर जबाबदारी स्वीकारावयाचा मला आग्रह केल्याने व स्वामीमहाराजांचा संकल्प सिद्धीस नेण्यासाठी सहकार्य करणे हे आम्हा मठानुयायांचे कर्तव्य असल्याने मी ही जबाबदारी आनंदाने स्वीकारली एवढेच नव्हे तर यथासांग सिद्धीसही नेली.( पुढे प्रत्यक्ष पंचशतमानोत्सवाच्या भव्य व सर्वागसुंदर व अविस्मरणीय अशा कार्यक्रमातही तनमनधनपूर्वक सहभागही घेतलाच.) त्यानिमित्ताने श्रीराम रथयात्रेच्या कार्यक्रमात व पुढे श्रीमठ प्राकारात स्वामीमहाराजांकडून आयोजित रामनाम तारक मंत्र हवन कार्यक्रमात यजमान म्हणून भाग घेण्याची दुर्मिँळ व दुर्लभ संधीही लाभली. राममूर्तीसाठी आर्थिक योगदान, भिक्षासेवा, भगवद्गीता पठणपूर्वक पूजासेवा व स्वामीमहाराजांकडून गंध प्रसादलाभ वगैरे शिवाय मुख्य कार्यक्रमापूर्वी, मुख्य कार्यक्रमात व मुख्य कार्य क्रमानंतर अशा तिन्ही कालखंडात स्वयंसेवक म्हणून मनःपूर्वक कार्य ही घडले .व त्याप्रित्यर्थ स्वामीमहाराजांकडून सत्कार व प्रशस्तिपत्रांचा लाभ ही झाला.
