#YearsBack #OnThisDay #IAF: On 01 August 1964, MIAF Arjan Singh was appointed Chief of the Air Staff in the rank of 'Air Marshal' at a young age of 45. He subsequently became the first IAF officer to become 'Air Chief Marshal' and later the Marshal of the Indian Air Force (MIAF).
