Very true and our conditioned mind come in between.
in fact, I remember in 2008, when my palm was fractured, n after putting ice on it, blood started pouring and one of my female junior offered to tie hanky but I ignored and when boy asked I agree and that girl asked "sir I am girl, was it a reason?" and I couldn't reply.
Mind I am and was very broad minded and never discriminate but it happened.
it is called conditioning.
