Birth anniversary of Nobel laureate and Great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore (7 May 1861 – 7 August 1941) is celebrated as Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti. An eminent poet, visual artist, playwright, novelist, and composer Rabindranath Tagore gave a new dimension to Indian literature and music. His composition ‘Jana Gana Mana’ has been adopted as national anthem of India and ‘Amar Shonar Bangla’ as the National Anthem of Bangladesh.
