Principle of waterproof fabric:
Under the condition of water vapour, water particles are very fine, and according to the principle of capillary movement, they can smoothly penetrate into the capillary to the other side, thus causing vapour permeation. When the water vapour condenses into water droplets, the particles become larger. Due to the surface tension of the water droplets (the water molecules "pull against each other"), the water molecules cannot smoothly separate from the water droplets and penetrate to the other side, that is, water permeation is prevented, and the vapour-permeable membrane has a waterproof function.
