What is the difference between Mini Car Freezer and refrigerator?
The difference between Mini Car Freezer and refrigerator is that the real Mini Car Freezer uses a Vapor Compression Refrigeration System (VCRS) to remove heat from the refrigerator/freezer compartment. These freezers are basically miniature versions of your household refrigerator. They can be set to maintain a specific temperature.
When the temperature rises above this setting, the thermostat will turn on the compressor. When operating under ideal conditions, portable freezers can refrigerate and/or freeze perishable food and beverages.
Unlike VCRs-based equipment, thermoelectric coolers have no moving parts. Instead, the current passes through the metal plate inside the cooler.
This will cause one plate to become hot and the other plate to become cold. This process is called the pyroelectric effect or Peltier effect. As heat transfers from the cold plate to the warm plate, the internal temperature of the cooler will drop.
The cooler can maintain an environment approximately 20°F lower than the ambient air temperature. These coolers cannot keep the interior at a specific temperature, nor can they freeze or keep frozen items.
