  I don't know if you are F2p or even P2p, therefore when you mentioned Bronze Gloves, I do not know whether you meant FoG Gauntlets, or RFD Gloves. I looked up both. I am also assuming you're a 1 Def Pure or something of OSRS gold the sort. Additionally, I looked up Iron instead of Bronze, because both need 1 Def, and settling for Bronze as soon as you're able to get Iron is dumb.
  
  Leather Gloves: No requirements, but the gloves. Aside from the coloured ones (They have the same stats also ), there is nothing special about them. Iron Gloves (P2p): 2 RFD pursuit have to be completed, +3 Str, fantastic Def bonuses to get your product,"best glove" out of the ones that you asked for. Iron Gauntlets (F2p): 30 Tokens to buy from FoG, 5 to recharge (No idea how much they cost uncharged in GE),"best" F2p gloves to get melee defense. I'd use Green Vamps for F2p, because you don't need to worry about FoG Tokens and these being charged or not. In addition they have good bonuses for the item. For P2p, Iron Gloves from RFD, however you can get up to Addy using 1 Def. This requires alot of work however...

If so, then get these items: Ghostly collection, Arcane Stream Necklace, Addy Gloves, Wizard Boots, Seers Ring (Id ), Mage/Zaros/Zammy Book, Ancient/Light Staff, God/Fire Cape. I believe the aforementioned is the best magic bonus for a 1 Def pure (Need 70 Atk for Staff of Light.) There's also those Dung items that increase spell something or power. Chaos Gauntlets from Family Crest also might be of use, as they raise spell power also. I'm looking for more things that will help you out... assuming you are magic based.

Searched better items, and just additional info generally... God Robe Bottom provides same incentive as Ghostly Bottom, but additionally gives a Prayer boost. God Mitre gives a +1 greater incentive in Magic Atk than Ghostly Robe Top. Master Wand is your"best" Magic Atk weapon, but cost alot. SoL gives the 5 percent Spell power boost also. Ancient Staff is a medium between both.
