Two G.O.A.T.s Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady share the 'Madden NFL 22' cover

EA Sports announced Thursday that Brady Mahomes and Brady will both share Madden NFL 22's cover. The announcement comes less than an entire year after their fight on the largest stage of the sport.
EA Sports teased the pairing via a video that was posted on Monday that features former Browns running back and Madden NFL cover athlete Peyton Hillis and two goats. In the clip, Hillis is shown taking a knee alongside the goats while speaking via phone. He is heard telling the unnamed person on the call "they repeated it."
Exactly what "they" (meaning those from EA Sports) did is something that's never been done by two console generations. It's been a decade since Hillis appeared on the cover of the Madden NFL series' annual entry, and more than a decade since the game's cover featured an athlete cover with two athletes.
Madden hasn't seen two players share the valuable real estate on the game's front cover since Madden NFL 10. This was the year that Steelers safety Troy Polumalu and Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald appeared on the front. They posed as if they were about to collide.
