It was something that I noticed a while back that many people believed the slayerdart wasn't affected magical bonus. However, it's been so widely spread that it's now considered to be a legend. Yet, a lot people continue to use it. A guy here (which is already very high overal (and has 91magic)), used slayer dart for a few days at barrows and he gained 400k xp; but using firewave (which is roughly the same strength, but a lot more experience) the player could have gained 1.25m, maybe even more time!
My friend will perform barrows in the next few days and i told him quite a few times to not use slayerdart but earth wave (can't make use of fire wave as of at the moment), because it gives more experience and is the same good. Yet i see him a few minutes in the past (because he wanted me to check his outfit) And what I find? SLAYER DART
After explaining to me the reasons it was not suggested, he purchases an earth battlestaff. He wore a Slayerdart as it was something he'd seen on youtube wearing it.
All this leads to the topic: Do you use a Slayerdart? Or fire blasts or wave attacks? Are you using magic in a way that you do not use? This topic shouldn't be relegated to polls. It's more a discussion for the reasons why people use it stead of that you make use of it. Let's get to the point. Could you elaborate on why people still used slayerdart in the days before death runes cost more?
