Assuming all of this goes live with the patch itself (and there’s no real reason to assume it won’t at this point), we expect players of Highmountain characters will have new horn styles, body colors, hair options, tail accessories, and headdresses. No plans have been announced yet, but it would fit the theme.
If you die screen death in the online role-playing game World of Warcraft, you wake up in ghost form at the nearest cemetery. This is followed by a more or less long walk to the corpse of your character, where you can revive yourself. These marches have taken many players together and have already taken many hours. But a remedy is in sight – in the form of the new update 9.1.5.
On the World of Warcraft PTR (Public Test Realm) server (buy now 14,99 €) the developers at Blizzard Entertainment recently named a new spell or effect “Weightless Soul” introduced. That translates as “weightless soul”. This effect enables you to fly in spirit form. If, after the release of Update 9.1.5, you give your character a blessing, you can save the endless walks in the future and instead float through the air and get to the corpse much faster. This innovation should provide relief, especially in regions with many differences in altitude and rugged locations.
However, there is a small catch: The effect only works in the standard areas of the Shadowlands – in the Ardenwald, Maldraxxus, Revendreth and Bastion. Both in the gullet and in the relatively new area of Korthia you must continue to march on foot as a ghost. Since these regions are structured less nested, the frustration with the “ghost wanderings” is limited there. However, it is still not known when exactly the 9.1.5 update will be released on the World of Warcraft live servers.
