The final word on the LEGO Collectible Minifigures 2021 price hike
Early sightings of LEGO 71030 Looney Tunes indicated that the Collectible Minifigures would be going up in price yet again – but it now seems those reports were greatly exaggerated. To get more news about

When images of the new series in the wild turned up online earlier this month, an accompanying receipt revealed that the individual price per minifigure was an eye-watering $5.99 before tax. Thankfully, we now know that that price tag isn’t representative of anywhere beyond the particular northern California store where the minifigures were first spotted.
In fact, you won’t have to pay a penny more for a complete set of 71030 Looney Tunes minifigures than you did for 71029 Series 21 back in January – despite the sheer number of new moulds required to turn these classic cartoon characters into tiny plastic people, and any and all licensing costs involved.
As confirmed by the series’ recent addition to the official online store, 71030 Looney Tunes will remain at just £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99 per bag. A full dozen characters will therefore cost £41.88 / $59.88 / €47.88, equivalent to grabbing every minifigure in 71029 Series 21 (without any duplicates, that is).
That’s not a bad way to start the week. Keep the mood going by reading our review of 71030 Looney Tunes, learning how the characters are distributed across a complete box, and building your very own Green Loontern minifigure.
