Features Of Universal Joint Cross

  • During the transmission process of our common universal joint cross , the rotational speeds of the driving and driven shafts are not equal.

The so-called "non-uniform speed of transmission" refers to the uneven angular velocity during the rotation of the driven shaft. The advantages are safety, simple structure, convenient use and maintenance, and low cost. The disadvantages are that the technical content is low, the price is too cheap, there are too many counterfeit goods in the market, and the raw material waste is large.

The driving shaft and the driven shaft should be parallel, and it is mainly composed of universal joint forks, cross shafts, needle bearings, and other mechanical parts.

Constant velocity universal joint: Its transmission characteristic is that the rotational angular velocity of the driving shaft and the driven shaft are equal. Vehicles driven by the front axle are equipped with constant velocity joints (drive and steering).

The advantages of cross universal joints are simple structure, reliable transmission, and high efficiency. When the driving fork plane is in the vertical position and the cross shaft plane is perpendicular to the driving shaft axis, the speed of the driven shaft is greater than that of the driving shaft.

However, the universal joint cross requires maintenance, while the maintenance-free bearings do not require maintenance or a small amount of maintenance.
